Transition to Surface Water: Woodland and Davis' Hedge Against Climate Change

Tired of water stains on your dishes and your car? Woodland's (and Davis's) water is about to get a makeover. The Woodland Davis Clean Water Agency (WDCWA) is in the process of constructing the Davis-Woodland Water Supply Project, which will bring water from the Sacramento River to your tap. The project has raised some concerns with the community, mainly over cost, but also promises to clean up and help secure our water supplies in the face of what appear to be increasingly variable weather patterns in Northern California. Get ready to throw out your old water softener, and enjoy an evening with Dennis Diemer, General Manager of the WDCWA.
