Dear Canadian Blood Services Volunteers,

There are some important dates to remember:

  • Starting September 20, 2021, we are asking volunteers to send a digital copy of their provided proof of vaccination to the following secure regional email Volunteer.VaccinationPRN@blood.ca
  • October 1, 2021, volunteers will need to have received their required dosage of an approved COVID-19 vaccine to volunteer with Canadian Blood Services.
  • Please submit your proof of vaccination as soon as possible, but no later than 72 hours prior to any scheduled volunteer shifts on or after October 1, 2021.
  • If we have not received your proof at least 72 hours before your volunteer shift, your shift will be cancelled and replaced with another volunteer.
  • For those volunteers who are not able to send in their proof of vaccination digitally, please reach out directly to my email: Olga.Elizarova@blood.ca

Protecting personal information is very important to Canadian Blood Services. Please read how we are going to protect your personal information below.

If you have further questions about your eligibility to volunteer with Canadian Blood Services starting October 1, 2021, please reach out to my email: Olga.Elizarova@blood.ca.

If we do not hear from you by December 1, 2021, your status will change to inactive in our system.
