PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE: 27 JUN 2019
As I write my last weekly president’s message and reflect upon our outstanding Centennial event last week, I would like to offer up some “Thank-Yous”.
- Thank you for the opportunity to be your President this year. The experience has been extraordinary.
- Thank you to all of you who make our club such a vibrant, caring and giving organization. Our club is truly special.
- Thank you to our club for sponsoring three of our sons to participate in the Rotary Youth Exchange program. This program truly changes lives and creates a small step towards achieving world peace.
- Thank you Lyn Sheffer. You are truly special.
Lastly, I fell woefully short of my goal to have Eva Marie and I share a meal with each one of you along with your spouse, partner, significant other, etc. during my year as President. For those of you with whom we did share a meal, those meals were one of the many highlights of my year as President. This process was such a positive experience, Eva Marie and I have decided to simply extend our timeline and continue to reach out to everyone with hopes of sharing a meal with all of you. We plan to continue this course of action until we have shared a meal with all of you.
