YouthReach

Sarah is Director of Media and Communications at YouthReach.

YouthReach is a non for profit organisation founded in rural Gippsland in 2010. Formed by a handful of young carers, they began assisting local young people in caring roles by offering support, fundraising hampers for their families at Christmas, along with several outings to provide life experiences outside of their caring roles. The team now spans across the state of Victoria and is passionate, diverse and driven to ensuring that young carers are heard, understood and supported. In 2018 they are embarking on a Caring For Me project and proudly leading the first research of its kind in the field of young carers.
