The Membership Committee is looking for members to be Mentors for new Rotarians. You might be asking, "what does a mentor do?" Well, here are just a few ideas: Watch that the new member is attending our weekly luncheons and sit with them at meetings, introduce them to other members.
Be sure the new member has joined a committee or two or is volunteering for some of our service opportunities.
Invite the new member to attend, with you, a service project or social event.
These are just a few suggestions - it is up to each Mentor to find the best balance of communicating with a new member.
