Spell-Off Party 2018

Get out those dictionaries and let’s hear it for S-P-E-L-L-I-N-G!

It’s that time of year again for our annual Spell-Off competition and P-A-R-T-Y at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, at Parkway Towers, 4545 Wornall Rd.

Spellers will compete for the four-member team that will represent Club 13 at the Literacy Kansas City Corporate Spelling Bee, Saturday, May 5, 2018.

But we also need supporters. This year you’ll pay only $5 per person at the door (yes, you read that right) for a great party – yummy hors d’oeuvres, a sip or two, and the hilarity of the competition.

Due to space, we can accept only the first 40 who sign up, so don’t miss out.

Our club has competed for the past 24 years and earned a great track record for wins, including a championship. But the real winners are Literacy Kansas City and the adults whose lives are changed by learning to read.
