Harvesters After-hours Event

Join us for an After-hours event at Harvesters - we will be meeting at Harvesters at 5:30 pm for a light dinner before the event. (Dinner will be $15). We are limited to 20 people, so please sign up early! More details below.

• All volunteers must be free of any contagious illness (runny nose, colds, the flu, strep throat, etc.)
• Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
• Based on current guidance from the CDC, Harvesters has implemented the following mask policy:
  • All visitors will be required to wear masks when they are visiting us at our Kansas City or Topeka facility.
  • Everyone is expected to wear the mask in a manner that fully covers your nose and mouth. Masks should not be worn below your nose.

• Close toed shoes and long pants (no shorts, skirts or dresses) are required. Dressing in layers and bringing a jacket is recommended, even during the summer.
• Please leave all valuable jewelry at home. This includes rings which may come off in the packing process.

Parking is limited so please carpool. Visitor parking is available in front of the building and in an overflow lot across the street. If spots fill, please limit street parking to the east side (closest to the building). Please enter through the Volunteer Entrance (under the red awning).

We encourage volunteers to bring donations with them when they volunteer or to donate to our virtual food drive by following this link: http://harvst.convio.net/site/TR?pg=entry&fr_id=1070. Every $1 donated to Harvesters helps provide 3 meals.  In November, we are encouraging volunteers to bring their favorite pasta or non-glass pasta sauce.
