Camp Enterprise is an intensive one-day experience where qualified high school juniors and seniors will come together to explore the fundamental challenges of launching a new business venture.

This year, we will host a select group of 90 students to come and interact with business, civic, government, and educational leaders to learn firsthand about starting a business, managing a new venture, and the responsibilities that come with being a part of the next generation of business professionals.

The event will take place on Saturday, April 7th 2018 at Bloch Executive Hall on the campus of the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). Our partners at UMKC will provide a great opportunity to use their state-of-the-art facilities, technology, and Business faculty to compliment the foundation values that, for more than 40 years, have made Camp Enterprise a special and unique experience.

The Rotary Youth Camp has a long and proud history. In the 1920’s, Robert Gees, a dedicated Rotary Club member, came up with the idea to create a recreational camp for the youth of Kansas City and the city’s surrounding areas. Over the years, the camp has evolved into a city-wide effort to educate the city’s youth on the value of free enterprise, business management, entrepreneurship, and business ethics.

We’re excited to meet this year’s participants, and we know you will take away new skills, new friends, and great memories from the experience!
