In June 1999, a year after I joined the staff of Rotary International, I attended my first convention. It was then that I first witnessed the global power of Rotary and made my first batch of Rotary friends. And it was then that I was introduced to Singapore for a second time.

Join us in Singapore to connect with other Rotary members and discover new opportunities through Rotary.

Hillcrest Hope is a place of second chances. Everyday we work with individuals and families to help them find the way back to stability and personal independence.

The mission of Hillcrest Hope is to empower the homeless and working poor to achieve personal independence through housing, accountability, education, and community support.

Community is a vital ingredient for Hillcrest Hope families during their time in the program and beyond. We believe lasting change is made possible when our families are surrounded with a supportive and positive community. At Hillcrest Hope, our vision is to someday see a community where all people have the necessities of life, including food, clothing, and housing. Wherein all people can stand on their own with dignity and provide for their families.

Hope Essentials is the cornerstone program of Hillcrest Hope. For nearly 45 years we have been providing transitional housing services to families right here is Liberty. Families are provided with a 2-bedroom apartment for 90-days (rent and utility free). During that time, families work closely with their case manager and budget counselor to address a variety of obstacles and struggles in their lives.   See program in action...click here!

Each year the Scholarship Committee of the Liberty Rotary Club is tasked with finding students in Liberty Public Schools who exemplify Rotary ideals. Through essays and interviews, the committee looks for students who are committed to serving others, promote integrity, and are leaders in their school and community. The Liberty Rotary Club’s largest event, the Butt Buster Barbecue, funds the clubs investment in local youth. This includes the $22,500 that is awarded to three top Liberty School District Seniors.
