DON'T MESS WITH THE INCOMING PREZ!

A note (warning) from our future president...

 

Dear Rotarian
 

I wanted to send a quick note to everyone to let you know that Nancy and I are having a great time in Seoul at the Rotary International Convention. Thanks to all of you Redding East Rotarian. We can't thank you enough for the great experience we've had in Seoul meeting Rotarians from all over the world.

 

We had sessions with over 20,000 Rotarians in attendance when the General Secretary of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon of South Korea and the Prime Minister of South Korea, Hwang Kyo Ahn spoke and welcomed us to Seoul, and thanked us all for what we've done around the world and in South Korea.

 

The unofficial count of the # of Rotarians here is over 47,000.  That's a lot of Rotarians in one place and for 4 days. We've been hearing about what Rotary has been doing around the world.

 

I look forward to sharing with all of you about the convention at next weeks RER program.  Don't miss it!!
