Winter Welcome Event

We have been invited to volunteer with the Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers at their Winter Welcome Event for recently arrived newcomer families. It will be on Sunday, January 14 at the Telus World of Science. I'm not sure of the time yet.....
They need people to assist with :
- guiding the families through the exhibits,
- helping kids with understanding and participating with the interactive activities,
- and helping out with the general logistics for the welcome portion of the event.
This will be a great opportunity for our club to help families newly arrived in Edmonton to feel welcome and to bridge their transition into the community. Please let me know if you would be interested in volunteering.
