2019 Rancho BEERnardo Festival Launched

Our regular meeting on Aug 6 marked the official launch of this year's Rancho BEERnardo Fundraising Festival. In order to make to make our only fundraiser more meaningful to our guests, the festival has been rebranded as "Taste Beer with Purpose". We want our guests to know that their afternoon of tasting the many craft beer from commercial and amateur craft brewers is their chance to also be supporting our club's efforts to help change the lives of people in our community and around the world.

Among the additions this year are homebrew tastings, QUAFF homebrew competition, and a peoples choice award for Best Homebrew.  Our festival will include over 75 Beers from top rate craft breweries. There will be a People's Choice Award for the Best Craft Brew.

As in the past there will be live music and food available for purchase.  A VIP ticket will also be available that will feature preferred parking and 1 hour early access in addition to access to tasting of rare beers.

Visit the official festival website for the full details.

District Governor's Official Club Visit

2019-2020 DIstrict 5340 District Governor Marta Knight will make her official club visit on this Tuesday, August 13. We need to show her how vibrant a club we are.  Since last week's launch of our Festival Fundraising effort was last week,  we can demonstrate our enthusiasm for our event by wearing our team's colors.
