There are some easy ways to support our community that don't cost you anything - but a little extra effort.  Veteran's Day is a good time to remind people that we are collecting cancelled postage stamps to support the work of the Foxborough Regional Charter School Holocaust Stamps Project.  The goal of the project is to collect 11,000,000 cancelled postage stamps to symbolically honor every victim of the Holocaust.  The wide range of themes depicted- people, world history, place, flora - leads to discussions about what makes our diverse world so special.  With the holidays coming there will be a lot more cancelled stamps available to save!

Kim Smith has offered to collect "stamps" earned at Shaw's supermarket so together we can earn Farberware cookware.  You know when you collect them for yourselves you are always just a few stamps short to get the cookware tem you wanted, but don't give up or throw them out - save them and bring them to Rotary.  The cookware that we earn will be donated to local organizations that help the low-income with household items.  These stamps must be earned by 1/3/17 and brought to Rotary by 1/5/17.

And while we are at it - if you know longer have a school aged child, but still buy groceries with the school box tops on them, don't throw them out!  Bring them to Rotary and we will make sure they get donated to a school in need.  Every time you don't save a box top, it is like throwing a dime in the trash!
