Pleasanton's new Rotary Clock commemorative black granite base was installed at Main Street and Vervais Avenue in Pleasanton March 25 signaling the completion of a milestone step toward the dedication of a Rotary Park next month.
The traditional street clock is a gift to Pleasanton by its three Rotary clubs - Rotary Club of Pleasanton, Pleasanton North Rotary and Tri-Valley Evening Rotary as part of this year's 50 Years of Pleasanton celebration.
Below: A construction crew positioned the clock's black granite based on its foundation. The clock stand and two-faced Rotary Clock were installed about an hour later. Park dedication ceremonies are planned starting at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 30.
