TO VOLUNTEER TO BE A MENTOR - CLICK HERE

Speed Mentoring is EASY, non-threatening (to you and to the student), and FUN for everyone.  Rotarian Mentors will talk one-on-one with students for a 5-7 minute block before moving on to conversation with another students.  There will be three sessions with different students - starting at 10:45 and ending by 2:15.  YOU MAY ATTEND ALL OR PART OF THE OVERALL EVENT, as student sessions will be at 11:02, 11:56 and 1:19.

You will be provided with suggested questions for engaging the student (and they will have similar questions for you).  Our own Angel Zimmerman will be our host for these conversations, along with support from our Mentoring work group and consulting HPHS staff.

An orientation for mentors will be held immediately after our Rotary meeting on February 22, 2018 (Ramada Hotel), during which Coach Coy and EJ David will provide valuable information and insights for those involved.

Our club goal is to establish communication and rapport that can them translate into additional mentoring relationships, coordinated with the 501 staff.  A few weeks ago, Shana Perry, principal at HPHS, gave us a rousing introduction to the mentoring project and the crutial need for this project.
