Twenty-five charitable organizations are participating in the Emporia Area's Fourth Annual Match Day to be held on November 13th at the Flinthills Mall. It is a day of giving for these organizations in the Emporia area thanks to the Emporia Community Foundation and five major sponsors who have put up a $50,000 match pool:
  • Clint Bowyer's 79 Fund
  • Hopkins Foundation
  • Reeble Foundation
  • Trusler Foundation
  • WS & EC Jones Testamentary Trust
Rotarian Shirley Antes, who is retiring from ECF, introduced four of the charitable organizations that are participating, who told our club what they do and how they would use the funds that they receive:
  • Jim Kessler, Habitat for Humanity
  • Julia Wilson, ECKAN-Lyon County
  • Rhonda Gordan, Keep It A Safe Summer Taskforce
  • Sally Sanchez, Hispanics of Today & Tomorrow
