Update on Rhode Island College

Kimberly Conway Dumpson serves as vice president for College Advancement and External Relations at Rhode Island College and executive director of the Rhode Island College Foundation. In this role, she oversees the college’s offices of alumni relations, communications and marketing, web communications, events and conferences, and multimedia production, as well as the operations of the college’s foundation, which has $43M in assets under management.  

She is an attorney, a certified fundraising executive, a member of the Providence Rotary board of directors and a researcher of African-American history.

A Maryland native with deep family ties to Rhode Island, she earned her undergraduate degree from Towson State University, and a juris doctor degree from Ohio Northern University. She is the mother of two children, Taylor, an aspiring civil rights attorney and Jeffrey, a graduating senior at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
