First In-Person Meeting!

We are excited to plan our first in-person meeting on Monday, August 31 at 11:45 am at Swan Point Cemetery at 595 Blackstone Blvd., Providence. We require that you wear face masks. We will have chairs placed six feet apart. Hand sanitizers will be available. There will be a few tents available if you prefer to sit in the shade. Rest rooms will be available.

 

As an outdoor catered event, state guidelines allow this meeting to have as many as 100 people. We will be well under that number.

 

Box lunches will include a wrap sandwich with chips, pasta salad and homemade cookie and bottled water. The cost is $20 which needs to be paid prior to the event. Your payment can be done on-line or send a check made payable to Providence Rotary Club at P.O. Box 90, Barrington, RI 02806. We are not taking payments at the event.

 

Please let Holly Applegate know your choice of box lunch: Ham and Cheese, Roasted Turkey, Chicken Salad or Vegetarian. If you would prefer to bring your own lunch, there's no charge but you still need to let us know you are coming, so that we have a count for the event.

 

We are pleased to have Kelly Perry, the Director of Horticulture of Swan Point Cemetery as our speaker. There will be a podium and mike at the event. ( I do have her picture and bio on the website)
