In 2016, Steve saw communications collapsing all around us. These political differences have caused friendships to end and family relationships to fracture. In 2018, he joined Braver Angels. a nationwide grass roots organization that uses structured workshops and debates to help people who disagree politically find common ground.
In Steve's presentaion, he will describe the Braver Angels Organization and hoe the organizations activities can make our communities stronger by building relationships through conversations.
Steve is the Past District Director of District 57 Toastmasters in Northern California. Currently, he's an ambassador for Braver Angels and a member of the Braver Angels Alameda Alliance. He also hosts the podcast called Productive Discourse. He lives in Alameda with his wife Kathryn.
