December Board Meeting Highlights
• Bill Zeigler, President, Called the vote on state of officers for 2017 year’s offices for approval. – Marcus King is going to assume the role of Club Service Director for the balance of the 2016-17 Rotary year. In that role he will oversee the following service committees: Club Service, International Service, Youth Service, & Vocation Service. For the balance of the year, the Signature Project Committee will continue to report through the Past President, Bruce MacPherson.

• D. Schieferstein, President Elect, Nominating committees and names were be submitted by December 31, 2016 to the district. John McFadden’s Fundraiser position is being elevated to Director.
• Ted Ellis, Treasurer, CCCC food contract expired December 31st.The Country Club is revising lunch meals to buffet style. May be a price increase
• Bruce McPherson, Past President, Signature Project – Council needs to be briefed and approve the signature project’s participation from the City. Kendra Scott store in Allen to host a fundraiser for Signature Project in March or April. - Club gets 20% of sales towards fundraiser..
• Scott Zimmerman, Provided fundraising update. RERC needs to make firm commitment to sell fundraiser event tickets..
• Leave of absence requests:
Bill Kruger – Pending Written Requests
Tom Brooks – Requested leave of absence
(effective January 1, 2017 – June 30, 2017)
Steve Hull – August 30th removed from the roll
• Resignations:

· David Loughridge
