2017-18 RISD Athletics

Leslie Slovak is the director of athletics for Richardson ISD – the first ever female to hold that title. She is starting her 23rd year with RISD and her second year as the Executive Director for Athletics.  She has served as assistant AD for the past 15 years, and before that she taught and coached volleyball at Berkner High.

 Leslie Slovak graduated from East Texas State University and earned an Athletic Administrator Certification. She has been married to JP for 22 years. She has two children. Daughter Annika is a junior at Pearce High School and her son Cade is in first grade at Canyon Creek Elementary.
