The Richardson East Rotary Club introduced the Community Volunteer Awards on December 10 2014. The purpose of the award is to honor the “Service Above Self” accomplishments of those in the area who are not members of a Rotary Club but emulate Paul Harris and his desire to give back to his community.
Guidelines for the nominees are:
  • Candidate currently lives or formerly lived in Richardson or the RISD attendance area.
  • The service which the candidate provided was a volunteer activity.
  • The candidate provided a service to the citizens of Richardson.
