39 poles are coming! March 1 all the juried artists met on Zoom for a briefing. Lenet Compton shared the story of peace and thanked everyone for helping to bring messages and images of peace to Lenexa. All poles will be displayed in Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park, which is the city's most popular and highly visited park. The exact placement within the park has not yet been determined. It is anticipated that the poles will be placed in small clusters along trails for optimal viewing; a few may be placed independently. The exhibit will begin May 1 and run through October 31. Judging has not been scheduled yet but is expected to take place early in the exhibit period. Details to come on the auction.
