Recently Lenet Compton and Sarah Donohoe had the opportunity to speak with Jenny Doty, Lenexa Parks & Recreation Supervisor - Nature, about the Craig's Crossing, Lenexa Rotary Club Scenic Outlook.  They were ecstatic to learn it is one of Jenny's favorite spots and that the trail maintenance has moved to the top of the department's To-Do list.  YAY!

Background - for those of you that were not in the club - it was built with a bucket brigade.  Maintenance is still done with a bucket brigade requiring A LOT of volunteer, strong backs.  Coordinating that effort is difficult and therefore why our trail doesn't stay in the best shape.  The bad news is you currently can't even see the trailhead.  The good news is it should be navigable this summer!
