At our meeting last Friday, May 7, 2022, President Mark welcomed a total of 37 people, live and on Zoom, including three guests: Mark Clark, Kip Bolon, and Ann Gunther. Tanner Ewing, a very young serial entrepreneur and tech wiz from Wooster, gave us insight into some of the tech development and manufacturing companies he has founded, located in Wayne County, Ohio, U.S.A.

1937 – On this day in 1937, while landing at Lakehurst, New Jersey, on its first transatlantic crossing of the year, the German dirigible Hindenburg burst into flames and was destroyed, killing 36 of the 97 persons aboard.
