At our regular lunch meeting last Friday July 22, 2022, President Rick welcomed 35 Rotarians, plus 5 guests (Emily Callan/Stark District Library, speaker Don Johnson and guest Brett Fegan/Kimble Companies, Denny Dulabaum and Larry Horton (District Governor from Dist. 5495 in Arizona)/guests of PDG Dave Ewing).
Don Johnson gave a very interesting talk on Kimble Recycling & Disposal, detailing their development from a private dump site on a farm, to a modern, regional trash and recycling company, helping to manage all of the waste that we generate. Don also described what happens to the materials we put in our recycling bins and how we can improve how we manage that.
Secretary Paula announced some of the local activities that were happening last weekend, and then handled our Happy Bucks:
