Mark is a lifelong resident of Stark County.  After graduating from Lake High School, Mark attended Walsh University and earned his B.A. in Accounting.  He worked for 14 years at the Pro Football Hall of Fame and then became the Executive Director of the Herbert W. Hoover Foundation for 11 years.  Most recently, Mark was hired at CommQuest Services in 2018 and currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer, overseeing 435 employees, 19 buildings across 14 locations, and services for over 20,000 clients annually.

Mark earned an MBA – Management from Malone University.  He is married to Dr. Elizabeth Russ, a Radiologist at Mercy Medical Center.  He has two children, Andrew & Alivia.  The family also has two dogs, a rescue Lab (Roxy) and a Portuguese Water Dog (Tallulah).  He just completed his third year as an NFL Replay official (and his 21st season in the NFL Replay Booth) and is also a Replay Official in the XFL.  Mark is a huge Springsteen fan and a Delta/Marriott travel warrior.

Mark serves on the Walsh University Advisory Board, the Pro Football Hall of Fame Advisory Board, and the Endocrinology Leadership Team at Akron Children’s Hospital.
