At our Zoom meeting on July 16, 2021, President Mark Clendenin welcomed a total of 33 Canton Rotarians (live at Centennial Plaza and also via Zoom), and the following guests: Tracie Clendenin, Lyndsey Clendenin, John Tucker, Amy Tucker, (guests of President Mark Clendenin), Dan Pelger, Heidi Pelger, Mandy Pelger, (guests of Past President Drew Pelger) and guest of the club, Zainesville Rotarian, Cody Pettit.

- 1882 First Lady Mary Todd Lincoln passed away at age 63
- 1945 The first atomic bomb was detonated in New Mexico
- 1969 Apollo 11 was launched, the first manned mission to land on the moon
- 1999 John Kennedy Jr, his wife and sister-in-law died in a plane crash
