At our Zoom meeting on January 8, 2021, President Drew Pelger opened the meeting by 'virtually' welcoming a total of 30 Canton Rotarians, as well as our speaker, Kim Kenney.

Club Secretary Paula Mastroianni presented some interesting historical facts for the day, including the following Rotary Fun Fact: The first Rotary club banner (from the Houston Space Center) to orbit the moon was carried by astronaut Frank Borman, a member of the Houston, Texas club.

Paula also received "Happy Bucks" from Treasurer Tom Clevenger and Rick Taylor.

President Drew made the following announcements:
  • The lease for the new Rotary office has been approved by the Board (by evote) and the officers have started making plans for the move.
  • Reminded the members that the Canton Rotary Brew Card event is still up and running.
  • An update on the "Pack the Bus" project will be announced in the near future.
  • Announced that Tom Schervish had passed away.
Secretary Paul Mastroianni introduced our speaker, Kim Kenney, Executive Director from the McKinley Presidential Library and Museum.
