At our Zoom meeting on August 7, 2020, President Drew Pelger opened the meeting by welcoming  21 Canton Rotarians, Perry Township Rotary President Tom Nelligan, and our speaker, Bob Quinn, PhD, Big Sandy, MT Farmer.

Club Secretary Paula Mastroianni reported on some interesting historical facts for the day and asked if anyone knew what Rotary's first public service project was.  PDG Bob Pattison had the correct answer: toilets! (In 1907, the Rotary Club of Chicago, the nation's first rotary Club, after concluding that they should extend their mission beyond just meeting for fellowship, initiated the first Rotary public service project: the construction of public toilets in Chicago).  Paula also received "Happy Bucks" from Bob Pattison, Dan Matthews, Mark Rojek, Rick Taylor, Drew Pelger and  herself.

Paula wished a happy birthday to all Rotarians who have a birthday in August. (which included herself)
