Field of Honor Interfaith Blessing of the Field

   ~ INTERFAITH BLESSING OF THE FIELD and a CELEBRATION OF GRATITUDE, 3:30 p.m., The Georgetown Ministerial Alliance will provide uplifting musical performances and inspiring messages of gratitude during this special presentation! The famed Company A – 9th Cavalry of The Buffalo Soldiers will be a special part of the Celebration of Gratitude, presenting their customary salute, providing a display of artifacts, and being available for photos after the event.

Also, Mr. Glenn Towery, a Vietnam combat veteran and present-day artist who served in the United States Navy, will be displaying his paintings depicting some African  American Heroes from WWI and WWII.  His paintings were recently exhibited at the “BUFFALO SOLDIERS NATIONAL MUSEUM in Houston, Texas.
