Field of Honor GISD School Field Trips

Tuesday, November 12 – Friday, November 15th

GISD SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS will be organized throughout the week. Over 1,200 students will have an opportunity to learn about our U.S. and Texas flag history, our wars, and branches of the military and first responders during their field trips to the Field of Honor®.  They will also enjoy an interactive panel discussion with veterans and first responders, meet some K9s, and participate in activities to learn about our history. The Williamson Museum will provide educational presentations from their “Traveling Trunk” shows that will teach as well as entertain students. Every student will also receive a pocket Constitution of the Unites States of America.
