  • District Conference 2024 - Join us Saturday, April 20th for a joint district conference with District 6440 at One Rotary Center, home of Rotary International.  It will be a great day of amazing speakers, interesting breakouts, networking in the house of friendship, and a compelling service project.  REGISTER HERE
     
  • District Learning Assembly - Saturday, April 6, 2024 9am-noon. Get your team of incoming club officers together and come learn more about the various club positions in Rotary. Register Here
     
  • Global Grants - Are you interested in participating in a Global Grant but don't know how?  You're District Global Grant Committee wants to help your club get involved.  They have resources to help clubs investigate what grants are in process and which clubs might participate.  For more information, contact District Grants Chair MARSHALL SCHMIDT.
  • Environmental Service Committee - News from Mary Onorad, Chair
    (1) Seven District Rotary clubs have submitted environmental grants that have been approved.  The grant applications are now closed for this year.
    (2) Mark Biondi from the Rotary Club of Westmont did a presentation for ESRAG in January on the Carbon Crew.
    (3) Light pollution can be harmful to animals and humans. Read more and find out how your club can schedule a speaker.

  • Rotary Peace Fellowship - Rotary Peace Fellows are selected globally every year and applications are now open. Here is an explanation of the program - Announcement.  For more information about our district process for choosing applicants, please contact Bob Giles at gilesrw@aol.com
     
  • Rotary Means Business - Would you like to join a fun committee and network with Rotarians and non-Rotarians?  Joe Kosner from the Aurora United club is looking for 4-5 people who would like to help plan Rotary Means Business events in our District.  Contact Joe at jkosner65@gmail.com if you're interested.
