The Collapse of Higher Education in Illinois

Jay D. Bergman, a Joliet resident, serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the Illinois Board of Higher Education. He is the president and CEO of Petco Petroleum Corporation, a nationwide energy company. He is also chairman of the Board of the First Secure bank group in the Chicago area. Bergman also serves on the American Red Cross of Chicago and Northern Illinois regional board, and is a member of the board of trustees of The Chicago Zoological Society/Brookfield Zoo.
