Kentland Rotary hears about Youth Exchange
The Kentland Rotary Club heard about the Rotary’s Youth Exchange program at its weekly meeting April 6. Nabila Chanet, an exchange student at Delphi High School from Indonesia, spoke and answered questions at the meeting. Rotarian Al White of the District’s Youth Exchange Committee also gave a presentation Monday. He suggested the Kentland Club look into participating in the program as a host for an inbound student or as a sponsor for an outbound student. “The Youth Exchange is a fantastic 11-month program that promotes international understanding and peace,” said White.
