Giving Season is upon us and with that brings the annual RCPC and University Park Tree Lighting! As you all know, volunteers are necessary to make this a successful event. Two hour shifts are available at the Rotary Tent or the Giving Tree, bring your family and have some fun as violinist Richmond Punch, Elvis and the renown Bill Sleeper Jazz Band entertains us! ALL proceeds benefit the mobile pantry project at the North Texas Food Bank & Phil Romano's Hunger Busters. This is also a great event to bring prospective members and your friends to get into the holiday spirit! |

I need 4 Rotary members to work on the Pantry Truck for Tuesday February 16th. The volunteers will be either handing out food or helping people to their cars with the food items they have received. Time is 9:30 am until 12:00 pm. Location is at the West Dallas Multipurpose Center at 2828 Fish Trap Road. This street is about a mile west of the Margaret Hunt Bridge or Trinity Groves Restaurants off Singleton Blvd.The center is two blocks west of Hampton on the south side of the street. Park in the library parking lot which is in front of the Center facing Singleton. We will be finished before 12:00 pm. Please wear your blue Rotary shirt over another shirt. Weather should be great |
