ROCKAWAY ROTARY AWARDED DISTRICT GRANT

The Rockaway Rotary Club has been informed by the District 7470 Grant Subcommittee that we have been awarded a $1000 Rotary Foundation district grant for this Rotary year. These monies will be used to purchase high-interest non-fiction books that focus on heroes, leaders, and influential people for primary school students in the Rockaway Township School District . These books will be utilized in promoting reading and literacy skills in the primary grades along with providing students with an understanding of the importance of positive character traits in the development of leadership skills.

Our annual Holiday Party will be Wednesday, December 14th, 12:15 PM at The Exchange.  There will be NO Breakfast Meeting that morning.
 
No club meetings will be held on Wednesday, December 28th.  Enjoy the holidays.

They are easy to do and very effective in maintaining your attendance requirements for our club.  Just click on a link under E-Makeups at the top of our webpage and follow the instructions.  Remember to submit a report to George, our Club Secretary.  It is easy to do and it doesn't matter which e-club you visit!
