This past Wednesday, August 10th, Rockaway Rotary and clubs from District 7470 participated in Service Club Day at Camp Merry Heart. The clubs of District 7470 have been supporting Camp Merry Heart since 1952, providing the upkeep of buildings, donating camper scholarships, and providing much needed supplies.

On Saturday, August 27, 2016, Rockaway Rotary will assist with the distribution of school supplies during the Rockaway “Back-To-School” Program at the United Methodist Church. Our club has donated funds to purchase the backpacks and we will assist on distribution day from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM with cooking of hot dogs, etc. for the participants. We will handle the BBQ in two hour shifts. Please contact President Sheila is you can assist at this project.
CELEBRATE ROCKAWAY DAY STREET FAIR
Rockaway Rotary will be participating in the "Celebrate Rockaway" Street Fair on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM in the center of Rockaway Borough. We will need numerous member volunteers for this event. Details will be provided during upcoming club meetings. See Past President Denise for information and to sign up to work a shift.
