A YULETIDE QUEST: ROTARY FOUR-WAY TEST CHRISTMAS PRAYER
If TRUTH and honor be our goal this joyous Christmas season,
We each will search out heart and soul for honesty and reason.
With conduct FAIR to all concerned, how wonderful'twould be,
And GOODWILL evermore discerned - fron sea to shining sea!
Then BETTER FRIENDSHIPS would abound, with love and understanding,
Peace and hope would then be found, and people less demanding.
All this would BENEFICIAL be, to all the folks concerned,
And glad contentment we would see, and happiness well earned.
The FOUR-WAY TEST, applied each day, throughout the coming years,
To what we think and do and say would banish doubts and fears.
And once again throughout the land, all men could live like brothers
And selfishness would then disband, as men think first of others.
We send this little poem your way to wish you Christmas cheer,
With hopes and prayers that every day throughout the glad New Year
May bring you blessings from above, each day, each hour, each minute,
The best of life, with thoughts of love, from us to you tucked in it.
