We have a raffle for all of you sports fans and non-sports fans alike - with FOUR GREAT PRIZES! We have:
- 4 tickets to a SF GIANTS baseball game (at home) - THE "BATTLE OF THE BAY GAME" on Thursday, August 3, 2017, donated by Young, Craig & Co.; or
- 2 VIP Gameday Experience Tickets, including 2 tickets, 2 pregame field passes and a parking pass to a regular season SF 49ERS football game (at home), donated by the SF 49ers; or
- 1 premium bottle of wine, donated by Sam Pesner; or
- 2 nights at a hotel in London, England, with breakfast included (but no, not air transportation): The Rubens Hotel, near the Palace, thanks to Roy and Maureen Jones of All Horizons Travel.

All proceeds with benefit the San Jose Flood Victims. This cause was selected by the Board of Directors because of the dramatic and immediate needs of those families who were displaced by the recent catastrophe. Our club conducts an annual raffle, and ordinarily, the proceeds of that raffle are shared equally by two causes: one global, and one local. However, this year, we determined that the entire proceeds should benefit the local cause.
The funds will be distributed through Silicon Valley Community Foundation – see their specific website page concerning this relief effort at: https://www.siliconvalleycf.org/sjflood
We selected them because they established a fund in conjunction with Mayor Sam Liccardo of the City of San Jose; and that fund, in turn, will be the distributor to needy organizations, providing money to various non-profit agencies. Below are just a few of the organizations that will benefit from this relief fund in order to help those who need it most:
