Marna Canterbury, MS, RD
As HealthPartners, Marna is the Senior Director of Community Health and Engagement. She provides organizational leadership in community partnerships, needs assessment and key community health initiatives including:
  • PowerUp, a long-term, community-wide initiative focused on prevention of childhood obesity.
  • Make It Ok, HealthPartners community campaign to reduce the stigma of mental illness and provide community support and resources for mental illness.
  • SuperShelf, a statewide effort to transform food shelves to promote health.
She serves as a nonprofit board member and community volunteer. Marna’s other experience includes leadership and development of health improvement efforts for health plans, clinics, nonprofits, schools, and hunger relief organizations.  Marna received her bachelor’s degree in nutrition and biology from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and completed her training as a Registered Dietitian at the University of Iowa. She received her Master’s in Community Health from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
