Mississippi River Clean-up

Time:  8:00AM - 10:00AM, Saturday April 24

Location: Lilydale Park. We are meeting at the large parking lot on Lilydale Rd just prior to the road barricade. Please note: you CANNOT access this parking lot on the river road coming from the 35E/Pool and Yacht direction, you must come from the Harriet Island direction. The road barricade is in place between the parking lot we are meeting at and Pool and Yacht Club. We will be meeting at 8AM, taking a few pictures, providing directions, then breaking up into groups of 2 or so for the reminder of the time. 

Preparation: As was mentioned, please download the phone App for tomorrow (instructions attached). This project is as much about the documentation of the plastics we find as the actual clean up.  We will be breaking up into groups of 2 (or so), with one person documenting and the other collecting. If you do not have a phone that can download an App, please pair up with someone who does or we also have a way to document on paper, but its a little cumbersome. We will be providing the trash bags and gloves.
