DG Official visit

The district governor visits every club in the district at least once in their year. 2015-16 District Governor Tim Schilds, (Sally), from the Rotary Club of Dawson Creek Sunrise, will visit our club on November 3, 2015. DG Tim will meet with the club's board prior to the lunch meeting. Member's spouses and friends are welcome to attend. |

The Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Edmonton Strathcona meets on the third Thursday of the month. As discussed at today's regular meeting, we will have a shortened Board meeting on Thursday night at my home imn Sherwood Park. The meeting will start at 6 pm. Our housed is located at 454 Estate Drive in Sherwood Park. From Edmonton, you can take either the Sherwood Park/Wye Road or the Whitemud Freeway. If you take the Whitemud, go east and cross the Anthony Henday. Continue east past the one set of traffic lights and, as the road goes down a slight hill, turn left (north) onto Range Road 232. Continue north until you pass by Salisbury Greenhouse. Turn right shortly after passing the greenhouse and then drive in a circle around the Estate Drive. Our house is about 2/3rds around, turn left into our cul-de-sac. The house is a bungalow with brick at the west end of the cul-de-sac. If you take the Sherwood Park Freeway / Wye Road, go east through all the construction, cross Brentwood Road and then turn right into the Estates. You will see the CBC Tower about 100 metres to the left. Once you drive into the Estates, you will hit a T-intersection, turn left and proceed on Estate Drive. Our cul-de-sac is the second street on the right, after the playground. Please confirm your attendance if possible. Please indicate whether you would like pizza (we have Royal in town) or sandwiches.
