a very Special Evening with

Harald W. Kuckertz

Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany

Please join us for dinner and learn about the ordeal of
Dr. Berta Kuckertz who was Jewish and forced to hide with her father in the German countryside during the Nazi regime.

Discover how her German relatives at the risk of their own lives protected them and kept them safe.

Some of you may recall Dr. Kuckertz from the time when she practiced medicine near Southgate or, earlier, in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan.

All of her diaries that were written at the time have been donated to the Leo Baeck Institute in New York, USA.
