Before the holidays, the grant committee met and voted to recommend three grant applications to the Board for their approval. The Board approved the following Grants on behalf of the Club.
The Literacy Center for $2500, Family Promise of Beaufort County for $1600, and Programs for Exceptional People for $2500. Under normal circumstances we would have presented the grant money in-person at a club meeting but because of the pandemic we were unable to meet with a representative from each of the organizations. We have distributed the checks, and we are proud to support these great organizations and appreciate all that they do for our community!
