Club News
Rotarians had the absolute pleasure of touring the Lionel Kelland Hospice today. A project that is near and dear to many members of our club and community. Our fundraising efforts for this project were recognized in the beautiful atrium of the four seasons deck.
Each year Memorial United Church has an Advent Calendar Donation Bag project. This bag is a reverse Advent Calendar inviting people to add an item from the list below each day during the season of Advent. Our Rotary Club contributes to this project annually. People, organizations, and businesses all come together to donate items, gift cards, or monetary contributions.  We as Rotarians are proud once again to be "People of Action" and support this project.

Rotarians who are able, are encouraged to contribute toward this project.  Any item, new & not used from the list below, gift cards, or monetary donations are welcome.

If you would like to contribute please email info@exploitsrotary.ca

Rotarians are asked to bring their contribution to our AGM and Holiday Dinner taking place on Thursday, December 8 at 6:00 pm at the Mt. Peyton Resort & Conference Ctr.

All items we collect will be given to the Memorial United Church and then distributed to the local food banks, Status of Women Central, Violence Prevention South Central, Housing and Homelessness Network, Y2C Youth Centre, and Cara House as needed.

In 2020 we contributed $1000 worth of items and monetary donations. In 2021 we contributed nearly $2000.  Let's come together again this year and make this project another huge success!

Here is the suggested list of items being collected. You do not need to feel tied to this list, give what you are able. Please contribute only new (in the package) items.

Thank you to Amanda Marie Photography, who are donating a portion of funds from their annual Digital Santa Photos to our project. The remaining portion of funds they raise will go to support The Stable Way. For more information on the Digital Santa Photos please visit Amanda Marie Photography on their Facebook Page Here.
We are thinking about our fellow #Rotarians throughout the province and all those who are affected by the ever-changing reality due to COVID-19.

"We rise by lifting others."

During this time in our province, we would like to remind everyone to simply, #BeKind Together, we will prevail.
