Shrimporee 2016 - Major fundraiser for Space Center Rotary This year's Shrimporee will be held at the Clear Lake Park on NASA Parkway (11:00 am - 4:00 pm). This year's event will be the best ever, with educational, interactive presentations that will intrigue kids and educate parents. Each year, the Shrimporee is Space Center Rotary's major fundraising event, lots of food & beverages, shrimp and BBQ brisket lunch, live and silent auctions, entertainment, games for the kids and fellowship. The event is free, meals are $15 each. Multi-draw Raffle tickets for a Grand Prize “$5,000 Shopping Spree at Lewis Jewelers”, Patio furniture, Restaurant Certificates…more for $10 each, 6 for $50, or a full Baker’s Dozen 13 for $100 |

SULEMAN LALANI, MD, CMD Dr. Suleman Lalani is in private practice in Greater Houston area for last so many years. He has completed his fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine and has attended courses at Harvard Medical School and Columbia University College of Physicians. He is Triple Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is also certified by the American Medical Directors Association and is among the elite group of only few physicians nationwide with such qualification. He is also recognized by National Register of Who’s Who for excellence in Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Lalani has been serving in various leadership roles in professional organizations and medical institutions. He is also member of the speaker bureau for the national pharmaceutical company and the Ambassador for the National Alzheimer Association. Dr. Lalani’s interest in caring for his patients and especially the elderly continues to lead him towards research of the common problems elders face. He has done several presentations in the area of general medicine and geriatrics, published in medical journal and actively participates in community health and education and prevention. Dr. Lalani believes strongly in philanthropy and volunteer service. He is currently the Chairman for Regional committee for the Aga Khan Foundation USA with the mandate to alleviate global poverty Dr. Lalani is married, has three children and enjoys reading, painting, playing racquet ball, and travel in his leisure time. |
