The 2013 North Shore Rotary Club Catfish Fry and Crawfish Boil was another huge success.  Matt Davis, the incoming club president, was instrumental in leading the entire club membership to another successful year and after expenses, raised $272,516.00 which will be donated to many various causes during his year as president of the club.  The North Shore Rotary Club stands among the elite of Rotary clubs around the world for fundraising and has raised $4,777,675.00 over the past 38 years of fundraising events, according to club records.

The success of the club's fundraising efforts goes out to the many organizations and volunteers who participate year after year in this historical event.  Without the hard work and contributions of club members, community organizations, businesses and thousands of people who buy meals, auction items, raffle tickets, donate auction items, prepare the food and come together in fellowship and support of Rotary, it would impossible to make the annual fundraiser such a great community event.

The 2013 fundraiser brought in a total of $400,139.00 from corporate sponsors, meal ticket sales, raffle ticket sales, live & silent auction bidding and gate sales.  Total expenses for the event were $127,623.00 which included event production expenses, live auction item costs, raffle prizes and kick-off dinner & meeting expenses resulting in $272,516.00 in net funds raised.
