District 5890 is offering VIP passes to award-winning Domino Effect Cooking Team’s tent at this year’s rodeo bar-b-que cook-off, Thursday, February 22, 2018 supporting Camp Hope, Houston.

Camp Hope is one of only two in-patient facilities in the U.S. exclusively for Veterans and their immediate family members recovering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

More than 250 teams, led by barbecue aficionados, compete in the World's Championship Bar-B-Que Contest. While most team tents are invitation-only, visitors can enjoy several public venues, including The Garden, Rockin' Bar-B-Que Saloon and the Chuck Wagon.  Plus, the carnival is open, for wild rides and fun games.

The Garden Stage, sponsored by Miller Lite, features some of the best up-and-coming and established artists in Texas country. The Rockin' Bar-B-Que Saloon also features live music, and has an outside patio for visitors to enjoy.

Your donation of $100 or more gets you full VIP access to the tent, all you can eat barbecue and spirits (while supplies last). Admission to the fairground is extra and includes access to the live music areas and admission to the rodeo carnival.  Admission is free for ages 2 and under.
