Instead of a speaker, we'll meet at The Union Kitchen as usual, but we'll be working on a great community service project...and everyone is invited to come help us.

Kingwood Rotarian Carolyn Wise recently gave us a presentation about Home Again Ministries which gives furniture and household items and supplies to families in multiple zip codes who are forced to start over after losing everything they own, or maybe they are victims of domestic abuse and are moving into their first home to live independently.

At our May 26th meeting, we'll be putting together gift bags that Home Again Ministries can give to people when they come to pickup furniture.

Kingwood Rotary will purchase Rotary shopping bags plus some of the items listed below.

Below is a list of items in case you would like to personally purchase items when you visit the grocery store, Wal-Mart, 99 Cent Store, Sam's Club or Costco.

Click here for a Home Again brochure if you would like to donate furniture and larger household items...and below is a list of the items we'll need for our bags in case you would like to purchase a couple of items.
